i was wondering on how eveybodys wy season has been. i personaly have had a great season. i have filled almost half my tags during the archery season. On sept 2 i killed my first buck deer with my bow witch is a 5x5 about 24" wide and scored 144' missing pope and young by an inch. then on the fourth of sept i filled my area 88 doe fawn tag with my bow. both shots where withen a yard or two of forty yards. both fell withen eye sight. then on the 8th of oct i filled anouther doe fawn tag with my rifle. on the first of oct i shot an antolope. then on the 16 th of oct i had the hardest animal to kill of the year which was a cow elk. i belive that i was spoild earler in the year by every aniamal died withen 20 yardes of a road. and then my cow elk was 2 1/2 miles in in area 14 ion the place we called the big hole. when i shot the elk it wasnt snowing and i thought we have horses down here it will be an easy pack for them. but just as i finished gutting here it started snowing. when it did the guy who owned the horses was afraid to go get the elk with them incase the slipped and brock a leg. so we then quartered the elk and would stick a quarter on our shoulder and hike out. by the time we where done it took us eight hours to get her out. all in all it was a great season. now its time to conentrait on predators.
