Poached Elk from Yellowstone area

Has anyone heard of a carcass found around the Gardner area or anywhere around the park. Some fellas came home with a monster bull from over there a couple days ago, I was told it was poached around yellowstone somewhere. Any word of anything found would help a lot. Thanks

Because I don't think the Park service gives poached monster bulls away. Those fellas are probally the poachers themselves. And let me guess, they're from Salt Lake.

Dammit Jim, you figured it out! Every poacher in the world is from Salt Lake City----there goes the Salt Lake Secret Society of Poachers!! .........puhhhhlllleaase!! Get over yourself!! Im not saying that there arent any in SLC, but to immediately think it was a SLC resident is ignorant! Ive actually seen more poaching cases here in Utah where the offender was local to the area, that where some City Slicker from SLC came down and poached the animal.....anyways, off my soapbox!!

Besides, I think he is implying that these guys poached this bull elk, he is just trying to get more info probably so he has a leg to stand on when he contacts F&G.......

Ummm... did you know that there is a late bull season in the Gardiner area??? What makes you think they poached it?

It had a different state DEER tag on the antlers and the poacher had no problems admitting that it was poached along with a couple other animals. I dont want to disclose to much info yet, I have already been in touch with the authoritys but you can not just barge right into someones house. These guys are real real bad, this is nothing compared to some of the stuff they have done.

Sounds like a family of poachers that I know in Shelton. Doubt it though, these bastards are so stupid that they couldnt find their way to Jellystone. I hope that they nail em with every thing they got!
Oh, BH, I'm sure that you know this but you can earn bonus points in Wa. good toward special permit draws for turning them in. I have heard that if it is a big enough bust that you could wind up with a special permit as a reward and cash.
