My grandpa told me that there was a 34 incher killed on monroe mountain in utah and i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the monster or how much it scored.
There wasn't a 34" buck killed up there this year, but there was a 28" buck that scored 160". Dont ask people over the internet about it though talk to the Fish and Game or locals they usually know.

If someone was broadcasting that a big buck was killed in your backyard or huntin grounds and then everyone wanted to come see where it was killed and hunted there, that may be a good assumption of WHY?
I don't mind posting about where this buck was killed. I really couldn't careless about the mtn. They still have to find a good buck. If you've hunted in southern utah you should know how horrible the crowds are.
Reflex, the ratio for killing a good deer on the Monroe is 1 per 12 hundred hunters, that would give you a better chance of killing a good buck, driving at night from Kanab to Page Arizona,
ironically, both hunts are enjoyed on super-highways.
LAST EDITED ON Feb-06-04 AT 09:12PM (MST)[p]Manny did you show those pictures to your grandfather. I'm just curious to the story behind this post. I've heard of one other nice buck taken this year but it wasn't 30+" 26"
