Looks like I'll be hunting 23 this year for late elk! I'd love to see some pictures of some bulls out of that country. Any helpful hints appreciated too!
Hunt steep and deep at that time. Along the edge of Tonto Creek and Hagler Creek in the Hells gate are sure bets for some nice bulls! Not much for better than 350 but still some good bulls in there. www.southwesthuntingadventures.com

hey, my friend and I met you at the shot show 2 years ago. Anyway, my buddy and I know the area real well. They've actually hunted it the last couple years and harvested some great (360+) bulls. PM if you need some help.
Actually I've yet to learn how to access my PM's so if you want you can email at [email protected]
Thanks guys. I'm excited to have the tag, and it sounds like there are some good bulls in the unit. Just have to hope that they're not too broken up and that I can find a good one. Sounds like it may be a bit crowded this year with the extra 50 tags-couldn't be any worse than Utah or Colorado though-I hope
I rember watching that winter bulls video a few years ago and thinking to myself that it looked like a fun hunt. Anybody know if those videos are still for sale or available on DVD?
