I am new here and I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way by bragging but me and a friend have a unit 1 tag and are elated. Hope everyone has a great hunt this year!
I also drew Unit 1, the archery hunt. I assume you will archery hunting. Good luck and maybe we will cross paths in the unit. I plan on hunting the entire season.
Thanks all for your replys I have been drawn 3 times and have scored on a nice 340 bull and a couple of cows in that unit. Increasing my cardio workout as we speak hope everyone has a great hunt!

A guy on the bus drew the same tag. He says he draws it every other year too!
I was up in Alpine for the 1st time checking out the country for the 1st time. I saw 7-8 bulls that were growing some fuzzy stuff!

Yes sir I work for the great Phelps Dodge. I am suprised you live in Thatcher and have only made the trip to Alpine once. Have'nt heard of to many people at PD getting drawn for unit 1 archery. Good luck in your hunt! and maybe our paths will cross.
I moved from CO about 9 months ago to Thatcher so thats why I havent been to Alpine much, but believe me I;ll be heading up there a lot more! Do you shed hunt>?

Chad Brown is the guy that drew the same tag. He is in haulage but crew 4. I believe he has drawn the tag every other year or 2.
