I think We have a huge problem here!!!If you don't beleive me click the link, scroll down thru the pics, read, and get some education for yourself.

The link will show some amazing pics and wasteful feeding on elk fetus etc. Its disgusting but the reality.

To me there's nothing too awesome about the total waste of a whole bull elk just so some anti-hunting-wolf-hugger can feel warm and fuzzy just knowing that "MAN" is no longer the top predator and with the very successful re-introduction "Nature" is doing it's own game management in perfect harmony???

How long will the wolf population explosion last??? Probably until all the big game are gone! Thats when the Sheep and Cattelmen will really see the wolf problem hurt them but as for now there are enough elk to go around. Eventually we will pay more taxes to support the continued management of the newly endangered species like the elk and deer along with wolves who WILL kill until out they run of food...Sounds like a great plan to secure a nice retirement from the Feds. Can you say job security???

How will we be able to justify hunting our big game as we do now if we have no game??? How will we be able to justify owning firearms when we no longer use them for practical hunting purposes??? I think wolves are just another way to detatch and seperate people from hunting and then their guns. Will your grandchildren easily give up some dusty old rifles that their mean old grandad used to kill poor little bambie 50 years ago???
Sounds crazy I know and its just my opinion but for now I guess I am still entitled to it.

I think you're on the mark. I watched a show a while back where they spent time with an old Indian trapper and hunter up in Alaska, he said the wolf was the only animal he hated because they killed everything in sight even if just for fun.

They are a mean bunch for sure. Really hits the ranchers and farmers hard with depridation kills. Hopefully people and the gov. will get a clue and re-introduce hunting these boogers in the lower 48. In AK they actually pay you to kill em. The only problem is they breed like rabbits!
Archerman - Archery hunting addict!

trust me MAN is still the top predator! Bullets are bullets and they'll go through a wolf just as easy as a coyote. As soon as it's legal of course.

I am a bit worried that by the time the feds de-list wolves and approve a plan that meets their goals (which keep expanding) it will be too late for our big game, but that is the plan, delay after delay while the wolf population explodes.

I personally have no desire to hunt a wolf. I prefer to hunt animals that I can use to eat, and antlers are quite a bonus as well to keep me and others from killing too many of the females of the species which ensures there will be plenty hto hunt in the future.
I am not wasting my time off work and money in the pursuit of a wolf. Besides how would you ever find them they don't just hang out in the same meadow, I fear they will issue too few tags and the success ratio will be very poor at best, then the state will realize the plan they agreed to is not effective. Then they will need an new plan which likely will need to be aproved by the feds which will cause more delay, see the process???

Guys enjoy what you have while you have it cause big change is on the horizon comming from these people and its not what you want, well that would apply most of you, there are some who call themselves Americans I wonder about.

hey bigbone, i got it. you can buy a one or two year old cow, tie it up out in the meadow and shoot it with a beebee gun so it balls. that should bring the wolves right in to you, just make sure you kill all of them, and dont tell anyone.

A few years back there was a documented case of a California mountain lion that jumped the fence into a sheep pasture and killed 13 sheep.
Domestic dogs will do the same thing.
Kinda blows holes the the anti's beliefs that they only kill enough to eat and pick out only the weak or injured.
