What is Utah's best cwmu for big bulls? I've heard this debated for awhile and thought I'd see the opinion from some of you MMers.
Thanks,SPJ

I'd happily take a tag on Deseret or Johnson Mtn, but I'd prefer almost every LE unit over any CWMU tag.

I really like South Fork Chalk Creek, close to the house and well managed by Cal Haskell with Wethered Horn Outfitters.

Cal? haha, Johnson Mt. for sure

Some of the Range Creek CWMU's are overlooked. They consistantly produce 380+ bulls

Nutters is a "sleeper" for sure, as are all those ranches right there, Jensen and Hermossa. I have guided elk hunters up there before and killed some great bulls.
I work on the Deseret now and we had a fantastic year up there last year. Definately not the BIGGEST bulls in the state, but you can kill a 350 or better bull and you'll see literally hundreds of 300-330's while your up there.
The other neat thing about Deseret is you will be fully guided at no charge (ranch policy)and usually hunt right along and stay with paying clients. It's a great experience for sure, and the hunt of a lifetime for many. :)

Todd Henkins and the Pagano take some good bulls. All the range creek units hold great bulls. Jensens produces a 380 bull annually. Ty does a good job down runnin that place and is easy to get along with.
