I can picture it now... you zooming over the mountains with your camoflague cape, like a chute-plan scouter on steroids... FZ10 in one hand, your top-secret long range velvet detector in the other, using your Steve-Austin-like laser vision... YDM... (notice I left out any reference to a spandex suit with a golden DK in the middle...)

I don't know how you keep getting better and better, but you do. You seem to get so close that you have the critters in your pocket. It's already been said, but you really do set high standards. I can hardly wait for September 11. I hope there are some monster pics of harvested bucks about the 14th.

WOW - fantastic pictures yet again Jeff. Amazing deer, I got goosebumps looking at the photos. I can't imagine seeing bucks like that in person, I'm pretty sure I'd have a heart attack. Great photo of the bear scoping out the apple tree, and then munching on one, that's a definitely unique couple of pictures.

Thanks for the nice words guys, I appreciate em. Really enjoyed watching the bear till it winded me but I guess thats what happens when you try to get to close.

I saw a mediocre size buck on Sunday that was nearly all rubbed in timberline country and another that had some good shreds of velvet peeled off. Might be nice to try for a hard-horned buck this year.

Our muzz season here starts in less than 2 weeks... good luck to all you guys.

Deerking, Those are some of the greatest pictures I have ever seen of giant bucks! I think I am enjoying these live photo's more than the kill photo's. I must be getting old because I would rather watch those big bucks than take one! Those pictures are awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing them. I could sit here for hours and look at live photo's.
