Wyoming Advice

Planning on Putting in for a muzzleloader tag in Wyoming, just looking for advice on the right/best areas to put in for. Would like to have a chance at a wall hanger but would also like to see good numbers of deer. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've only hunted Nevada and Utah for mule deer. I'm a Nevada resident and am used to hunting the high country during Archery and Muzzleloader seasons so I'm not afraid to work. Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think Wyoming have a specific muzzleloader tag for mule deer.

Wyoming has few, if any, muzzleloader only seasons. If you want to hunt with a muzzleloader in Wyoming, you typically have to hunt during the rifle season with you muzzleloader.

If you want a muzzleloader buck, I'd pass on Wyoming. There are almost no seasons. Go to Colorado. And DeerKing is still the guy to ask about where to go for a muzzleloader buck there. I live in Wyoming and I don't ever bother using my muzzleloader in state. There just are not any good opportunities for good seasons or trophy bucks.

WOuld have to agree, go somewhere else, no seasons and no big bucks.
