I am hearing reports it could be today or early next week.I did not think it would be this soon with paper apps only this year.
Keep us posted if anyone finds out.

well there is some change i called at 9am and it gave me the spring results and when i tried at noon it said draw results were not available at this time. last year we new on the 23 so it could happen at 5pm today we will see. i hope so.
 
KEEP US POSTED ON ANY NEW NEWS IF RESULTS ARE AVAILABLE.
I could use a nice cold one if I draw elk after many years of putting in and many others could also if drawn.
Good luck we should find out very soon some will be very excited for September this year.More than most will have an extra point for 2009 draws.Hope I get to be one of the excited guys for September to roll around sure would be fun to have a tag being sent my way this go around.I am sure there are alot of us thinking the same thing.
 
WARBIRDUM knows how I felt about 10 days ago before the Oryx draw. They will drag it out until the last minute to keep you sweating.

Good luck guys. At least you do not have to compete with the Cabelas guys.;-)

My odds will not be great but a guy just never knows what can happen on these draws plus its been so long since I have hunted elk I just cant take it anymore.he he

For what it is worth, the 08 spring draw results were on the internet days before the phone system last November.

I'm really hoping to find out tomarrow. Sounds like everyone is just as anxious as I am to find out. I'm hoping for an archery tag in 4b. Draw odds weren't too bad at 15 %. any pointers for scouting that unit for big bulls if i do get drawn?

Considering the draw used to be done in July, not sure I'd base last year and the year before as being the latest and second latest. Thats funny.

heard a bad rumor that the results are still 14 days out due to cabelas wanting the hearing. hope that isnt true my doctor wont up my dosage any more.
 
hunter - LMAO. According to the AZGFD as of 9:50 central time Monday they are '' still experiencing technical difficulties '' . I beleive that means they are loading the results and testing the system. In other words either today or tomorrow !! GOOD LUCK. C.C.
 
at about 8:15 arizona time i spoke with someone at the game and fish. I asked about the results and she told me they were not ready and would not tell me when they would be. I'm thinking today or tomarrow.(hopefully)
 
the comissioner dropped his truck off with us for service, he said the results will be up some time this week and thats all he was saying
 
my boss says he is going to have put in a strait jacket and hualed downtown to the funny farm because i wont take the phone off my ear and keep saying are they up yet are they up yet, to hell with it i am taking the day off and going home till i find out. i wonder if i am elgible for disability during this time of year.

I just called G&F to check something with my bonus points and the lady said the draw hasn't been done yet, but they'll have results out within a week.

I just called and they changed the automated service line a little bit. but it is now saying "we are experiencing techniqual difficulties at this time". Looks like we will have to wait until tomarrow.(maybe)

dude you got it bad...i love it...the dr won't up my meds...epic!!!...i once quit a job because the forman was not a hunter and didn't understand what the "big deal" was to go chasing after turkeys..some people are missing out.

9:50 central time - I just called and got cut off twice as I was entering my sportsman ID #. I called again and got a new recording. The '' draw results are unavailable '' recording is gone. They now say they are experiencing technical difficulties. Soon, very soon. GOOD LUCK C.C.
 
Its kind of funny how people back east, and in the midwest call anywhere between midnight and 10 am their time thinking the results are going to be posted. Do you really think people at G&F stay there all night to post results? Hell no. AZ is not on daylight savings time, and as I am writing this, they have only been in the office for 20 minutes. Its pretty amusing.

It never ceases to amaze and amuse me at how we all act when the drawings are expected to come out. Like a bunch of 4 year olds on Christmas.
 
i love it, march madness. hunting has always been my life it got me divorced, something about gone all the dam time and i cared more for hunting then i did her, have no idea were she got that from.now i have my kids doing the same thing as i do. my boy has been sneeking moms phone to call and see if the results are out yet 2. the funny thing is my daughter helps him get the phone from her, there the best. haha i get chewed on all the time for what my kids do and talk about all the time.soon we will all know if we get to spend september in the woods chasing those bugles or calling around trying to find someone with a tag to help out, its in our blood. good luck to every one and hope you all get what you have been waiting for.
 
it doesn't help either when chappell puts out one of his best dvds to date.mossback does the same...i personally don't need any outside motivation to get "hyped" for fall!!!this whole "mind game" part of the draw is awesome.it's even better this year..no credit card hits to tip us off...the bonus point thing doen't work....epic!!my wife just looks at me like a freak..ha ha..i know i would not want to be the person who answers the phone a game and fish...wow.does anyone remember when they used to charge was it like $5.00 to check your draw results???? they could charge way more than that now...lol

i am glad they dont charge any more then that bill would be as high as my taxidermist bill. hell i owe him so much(or should i say paid him so much) i feel like he is my personal taxidermist.i figure it wont be until friday at 5.
 
I agree. Unfortunately, I think they are testing the system at this time preparing for the onslaught of "hits" that will come with the draw results. My guess is friday at 1:00 pm...
 
any bets on if our 13 million dollar new g&f system will "seize up" like always when the draw hits??? i think its still a few days off the web site still has the same info on it it has had for a while.hunter i don't have the taxidermy bug like most but most of my hunting pals keep their taxidermists in new trucks for sure!!lol.az i think your right fri sometime.one year on paper apps didn't they slip in a "mid week" draw to keep us from bombing the system?

This is like the good old days paper apps only and money up front.There is no way to find out. At least I am not checking my credit card hits every 10 minutes thats one positive thing about this year.

You know Monte, until you made this thread I really had not given it much thought. I was thinking we need not worry about such matters for a few more weeks. The more I read the responsive posts to your thread the more anxious I get. I don't think I have a chance for a rut tag, but I do think I might get my stinkin Nov. archery tag. Anyway thanks for reminding me to obsess about something I have no control over!

i am always hunting elk..ha ha just sometimes its with a camera.. i don't need much reason to hunt elk...just kind of hard to get them in the freezer with the camera..lol

I sure hope your right! I need to know which antelope tag I drew! I am not expecting elk since I had my tag last year but there is always hope.

redrabbit, where are you getting that info? Cause a guy on another site said he spoke w/ one of the comissioners & he told him this week. So what do you know that we don't! I guess my point being if it's next week I'm not gonna make it. :)
 
Seriously where is everyone getting there info. Am I wasting my time by calling every 20 minutes or should it be any time now. I NEED to know if it is getting close or if I am wasting my time. Besides, I'm starting to drive my wife crazy.
 
I wonder what the effect the Arizona Draw has on the state's GDP every year.

I thought I was spun a little tight about pulling two of the seven non-resident unit 9 tags this year, but I am only checking about once an hour. You 20 minute guys might want to up the dose a bit.
