I believe it is the same gentleman that bought that last couple of east side elk tags as well (prior to this year). Last name is Riechert or something like that??????? Hell, I can't remember.
I have not heard if he harvested but let me ask around.
On a side note, here is where all of the state auction tags will be offered in 2005:
Westside elk, westside deer, & California Bighorn tag will all be at National FNAWS in San Antonio in March.
Moose will be at the Northwest SCI banquet.
East elk was awarded to the Seattle Sportsmen's Conservation Fund and will be offered at the Seattle Sportmen's Convention (the combined banquet with WAFNAWS, RMEF, et al)
Eastside deer and mountain goat were awarded to the Washington FNAWS chapter and will be sold at the same Seattle Sportsmen's Convention in Bellevue Feb 4-5.
