6B Guide/Questions

I realize that we've all got to keep our secrets in the units out here but could/would anyone pm me or be willing to chat a bit on where to get started out there? I personally drew an antelope tag and a late coues tag last year and would be more than happy to share info with anyone I met because I really don't plan on drawing either again for a while and when I do draw again the unit will have changed a bit anyways.

Also, is this a guide-worthy tag or should I bust my butt scouting and DIY? If there's an opportunity to pound a really good bull in the unit with someone who knows it like the Bundy's know the Strip, I would definitely consider it. Any recommendations on a guide?

I would take the money a guide would charge and invest it in gas. Spend the time off scouting and learning the unit and/or areas people will recommend. The WM can get you going in the right direction to rule out lesser areas. I would think that DIY would give more personal satisfaction if you have the extra time to invest scouting. Big bulls can and have come from 6B, but I would not consider it a major trophy unit.
