Yellowstone or Moonlake drainage?

I'm stuck going to a family get together near Duchesne the next few days. I wanted to get out after some bulls one more time before the season ends. I have been on some bulls on the north slope the last couple of days and they are just heating up and starting to make some noise. I know it is late asking, and honestly, up until last night I was just planning on hangin with the fam, but after chasing a couple of active bulls last night I want one more shot. So does anyone have any suggestions for the south slope they would be willing to share? I have backpacked many of the drainages and am pretty familiar with them, but it has been around 10 years since I've been in them. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Them elk over there could be anywhere or no where at the same time. I know no the answer you wanted, just so much country up that way. We went into a spot that held elk one year, zero the next year. Good luck, let us know if you happen on to them.

I scouted the Moonlake drainage once. Didn't see much sign there. If you can make it over to the Whiterocks River drainage I can give you some pointers.

Thanks for the input guys. Being late tonight and not having much to go on, I think I will just stay with the family and help my wife with the boys. It would definately be a blast to get out after some elk, but might not be the best decision this late in the game. Again thanks for the input.
