Did anyone draw CO 54 or 55 with less than 8 points???

Just wondering what it took to draw. I heard about one guy that had 8 points and didn't draw.

I drew the second season for 55 as a non resident with 3 points. Brian

I KNOW TWO BUDS OF MINE DID NOT DRAW 3RD BUCK SEASON WITH 8 POINTS EACH. YD.

BUNKHOLE, 54 is as good as people say, but they (CDOW) raised the number of second season tags by more than 100. That's why you got yours with one point. I hunted there two years ago and also got it with one point. Don't expect to see giant bucks behind every bush or you'll be dissapointed. The country is very steep and you'll have to work hard for a big buck. Luckily the season was pushed back a week....Good luck...Steve

I didn't draw 55 as a resident with two points.

54 is a big unit with a lot of potential. The area on the north side off Kebler Pass doesn't get as much pressure. Do some pre-season scouting and get as far off the road as you can.

I have a friend who drew unit 55 archery deer with 4 or 5 points this year.
