Chevy silverado is my dream truck what is your dream truck? I would like a 99 chevy Silverado are you a ford guy a dodge guy or a chevy guy?

One that starts every time I turn the key. One that stops every time I step on the brake. One that is paid for. Really doesn't matter to me---Ford or Chevy. bob

'69 F350, Crew Cab, 4" lift, 428 CJ.

What you gonna do with that Big Light Bar Arns?:D

I still have my 99 F250 super duty. 7.3 diesel, power chip, with 5" exhaust for better breathing and dealership installed dual 32 gallon fuel tanks. Pulls a 26" RV trailer up a 6% grade with power to spare. Paid for long ago and it only has 70 thousand miles on it.

Only after market items I have installed is a heavy duty radiator that runs the transmission fluid though it for cooling. For some reason in 99 Ford only used a smaller radiator for transmission cooling and by passed the main radiator. I use both. Also installed heavy duty brakes on all four wheels from Summit racing. No more warping of the front discs that the factory brakes were good for.

My son bought a new Ford F250 the first year the 6.0 diesel engine came out and it was a lemon. Turbo went out several times and he got rid of it and is now a Dodge Ramcharger buyer. Why Ford got rid of the 7.3 diesel was a big mistake on their part. My engine is still all factory parts, except for the power chip, and still runs perfect.

Hey RELH?

How much does a 26" Trailer Weigh?:D

(((RAZZIN Ya Bud!:D)))

Mainly have had Fords and currently like my Tundra,
but I think my next truck will be a Ram Power Wagon.
Front and rear lockers.
12,000# winch.
Front sway bar disconnect.
Skid plates
2" lift
Hill decent mode
3/4 ton with soft springs
410 HP
All factory stock........
But it is going to be hard to intentionally pay money for a Dodge.

I heard that Ford is coming in 19 with a 650 and 750 platinums.Sticker price $100.00.At that price chit I'll take one of every color

It's not really a truck, but it's a fun Rig!
P.S. It's for sale.

I'm interested, how much and where are you located. Those old Land cruisers are really cool. Oh and my truck of choice is a Tundra.

"Rudolph truck" (at Christmastime anyway!) 2002 Chev Silverado. She's been "rode hard and put away wet", but has served me darn well in over 100k miles now. Slept in her, broke down in her, barely missed elk TWICE; a few dings/damage (replaced fog lamps twice one hit deer, and 1 rabbit; replaced tailgate and rear lights from accident; fuel pump & alternator, brakes replaced once all around...a keeper for me! ;-)

Jeez Big John you can run a hunting limo service out of that rig.
Pick 10 hunters up at the bottom of the hill and take them to the top of the hill. $20 and it might pay for a very little of the gas. LOL
That's a truck!!!

Hey Grizz I went to the Mecham auto show in Denver last year and there was a 76 Bronco like yours fully restored that went for get this $60K, that truck of yours is worth more than a late model Corvette.

A 79 CJ like mine that wasn't fully restored went for $55k. It turns out those old Bronco's and CJ's are what they want with the locking hubs.

Just thought you might want to know what it is worth. You could buy a few big money tags for that beast.

404,000 on mine. don't ever get rid of it

I have my dream truck...A 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4dr Off-Road. Small enough to get most anywhere, reliable and decent mileage. I have had several 1/2 to trucks, Dodge, Ford, Toyota (Tundra if that counts?) They have been OK but I have found the Tacoma works for me. Best part, I paid cash and don't owe anything. I keep telling my wife it will be my son's truck in 8 years.

If you ever wanna get rid of it, let me know. I"d trade elkassassins left nut for that rig.

Another Tacoma guy here. They're small and go just about anywhere. Very reliable.

They're also very quiet running which makes them ideal for road hunting. I disabled the annoying beeper that sounds off when you open the door with the key in the ignition.(deer seem to spook when they hear it) I also disabled the annoying light that flashes if the seat belt is not engaged. Seconds count sometimes when road hunting.

I agree 100%

>Ever killed a buck road hunting?
>Sir

I would say between 7 and 10. I can't remember really. All blacktail bucks in CA. Sometimes they just beg to be shot. Two in one day one time. I had 2 tags. I came around a corner to see a nice 3X3 standing along side the road. I stepped off the road and shot it. Another 3X3 was bedded that I didn't see. He stood up and said "shoot me too". So I did. Season over. Time to go duck hunting.
