Manti Limited Entry Elk

If you have a Limited Entry Elk for Manti I would be happy to help. I have my 4 horses on the mountain from now until the hunts are over. If you need advice or need help hauling your bull out let me know. If you need a place to stay you can rent my camper that I can put on north or south skyline or stay in our 4 bedroom cabin that sits up above Fairview at 9,000 feet. The cabin is full for the Big bull Rifle hunt but still available for the muzzy or late season. Good luck this fall and let me know how I can help.

Currently at 18pts and could draw the early rifle as a NR if I jump in, not in a big hurry as I'm hunting other states every year. Would like to hear about the pressure from other hunters/parties and recreation traffic to expect and size of the bulls one could realistically harvest on the Manti, thanks for any input and those horses being available might sway me

The Manti is one of your best units for 18-19 pts. There are better units in the state for better quality bulls but you are another 4-5 points to even have a chance on those. Manti is busy come hunting season. It is very accessible and lots of ATV roads to access almost every canyon. There are a few ranges that don't have roads and you have to hunt from the bottom up. For the most part you can drive to to the head of most canyons and hunt down. Because of it's easy access and awesome camping areas it appears there are more Limited entry tags then there are. Usually it is one tag and 5-15 people helping the hunter. Most of the people you see are spotters and family along for the experience. In my opinion a 330 bull is a good bull for the Manti. To get a 330-340 bull is job well done. The horses are willing and able if you decide to come this way. PM me and I will send you some pics.
