Hey guys. I'm on the banquet committee for the Madison Gallatin Trout Unlimited Chapter and we're putting together the things we plan to auction off.
Each year we have local guides that volunteer a couple of days of guided fishing and we get hotels to put up a couple of nights. The problem is that locals at the banquet don't want to bid money for a fishing trip they can do themselves. So what we end up doing is swapping with others in the state or out of state some trip that locals would be more apt to bid on, thus funding our local chapter. (Because this is a non profit I hope the moderators don't have a problem with this post)
So, if you run a business guiding/birdhunting/whatever and would like to come here for a couple of days of fishing on the Madison or Gallatin and in turn somebody who bids on a trip to visit you could end up with a nice 2-3 day trip, let me know and we'll see if we can work something out.
