What's the story on those HODAD sheds that score 330 and are about 43 inches wide? Good Gawd those eye guards are phenomenal! What state and how many years ago?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-17-14 AT 08:36AM (MST)[p]If I remember right, they hung in a cabin since the 1950's maybe, and are from WY. Sick big. Even parked next to the WR Broder buck it holds its own.

Earlier this year I was one of the lucky guys to put a tape on this set of sheds. The elderly gentleman that owned them at that time told me that his father inlaw purchased a cabin on the western side of the Big Horn Mountains in the mid 1950s. The antlers were in the cabin at the time of purchase. The antlers remained in the cabin until just recently when they were remounted. In the cabin they hung upside down and the elderly gentleman told me that visitors would often wonder if the antlers were upside down or hung correctly. When told they were upside down the visitors would reply that the antlers had just as many points going down as up. This earned the buck the nickname the Upside Down Buck.
Pictures do not do this buck credit. The typical frame is 210 net with 113+ inches of nontypical and a spread credit of 29 inches (the longest Main Beam) The net score is a bit over 323.
The buck is one of the greatest Mule Deer ever. It makes you wonder what is still out there in a cabin or barn some were.

Awesome story behind them! Thanks for sharing that!!! Those antlers are incredible..

Oh yes! If given the opportunity, I'd bust that buck over the Alberta buck any day. The Mundy buck was my all time favorite until this WY buck showed up. Incredible.
