I'd have just stood stunned had I ever seen bucks like that!

I agree, I've never hunted them before, but I still could not get over how big that buck was. I can't remember right now but he was like 140" or something I think, right? Amazing!

Naw, I just need an EXCUSE to go wreck a quad. Heck, I already fell off a mountain this year. Lemme tell ya, it's not a good feeling to see a helicopter landing next to you.

I think God is trying to teach me a lesson...over and over and over again.

I don't think I'm learning it??? LOL

Hey NM- Did you know that Eastman's has a program in which they will automatically send him an issue for free? Subscribers donate the subscription, all Eastman's needs is his name and mil addy!

Last time I talked to 'em, they had more subscripts than addresses. Give 'em a call, then you and he can enjoy the issues!

Thanks Pred, . About three weeks ago I sent him the latest with 4 quart sized bags full of elk jerky from my Sept. cow. I made him up a batch of mesquite, red chile and reg salt and pepper , and we also sent him some Sadies Salsa(local NM vendor,and great stuff), and he just recieved it this past week . I love to get his emails, trying to stay in touch from home as much as possible, my little sister flys out December 11th , also a Marine.I think my wife and the mother of the man who I send this stuff to enjoy putting care packages together ...
