Let´s see some of your favorite pictures of 2012. Doesnt matter what it is! Please post the camera type, lens, and about how far away you were shooting. Just trying to get an idea of what each camera can do :) Thanks!

Because of back surgery, I really haven't been out much this summer. But in early June I did go up and take some antelope photos. This was one of my favorites from that session.

I was using an Olympus E-5 camera, with a Zukio 300-2.8 lens and the shot was about 18-20 yards.

Hereis the same buck, taken with the same set up but at about 30 yards.

One of the great factors, to getting good photos, besides good equipment, is being able to get close to the subject. I truly believe a modest camera, with an average lens, will take a better photo if you are close to your subject, than will the most expensive camera and lens combo from a long distance.

Have a good one. BB

Shot with a Canon 7D. All of the sports shots are with the 70-200mm 2.8 IS lens. The lightning shots were taken with the older 28-135 mm lens.

I went out to see if I could find a few deer to shoot this morning, but couldn't find them, but ended up getting a couple photos of this chicken killing hawk.

All were taken with a D300 Nikon using a 200-400 VR II lens. Not a cheap set up by any means but I love the versatility.
