So, I was out taking some pics and came across a group of bucks.
I had the camera focused in on them when all of a sudden, the upper buck on the right lowered his antlers and broadsided the upper left buck!
The upper left buck jumped sideways and took off up the hill.
The lower middle buck was surprised by the incident and as you can see, he jumped out of his skin.
I missed the impact shot by about a second.
I would have missed the entire thing if I had not had the camera focused and my finger on the button!
You can see the snow flying through the air and all the muscle definition in the lower buck as he got ready to get the heck out of there!
Kind of neat, just wish I had been using a continuous shooting mode. I might have been able to get the entire thing, frame by frame.
