I purchased a new pair of vortex 15X50 Viper binos last year and it came with the Glasspak harness. I used it most of last year during the hunting season and like how clean and dry it kept the binos, however, I didn't like a few things such as how the lid opens toward your chest, the pack felt quite bulky especially having never used a harness before, and the bino strap clips are noisy. The lid opening toward your chest, come to find out, is a common feature with many harness brands. After doing online comparisons and researching all brands I decided to purchase another type and give it a try. I settled on Outdoor vision. I must say I'm extremely pleased with the fit and function of this harness. As I mentioned my binos are the vortex 15X50s which fit perfectly into the large size harness. The OV pack design holds tight to your chest without bouncing around. The lid opens away from you making access very fast and easy, can be done with a single hand. No loop and hook to try and close. The Outdoor vision uses magnets for closure, which I was a little skeptical of before using but now I must say it works awesome. The Outdoor vision is less bulky than the vortex. OV also offers additional accessories such as a rangefinder pouch with works very well. I'm in no way affiliated with Outdoor vision just a very satisfied customer.
