Vortex binos

looking to buy a new pair of binos narrowed down to the 15 x 50 Viper HDs & the 15 x 56 Kaibab HDs I have been told the biggest difference between the 2 pairs are weight & $$ anyone have either or checked them out ??

I have looked at both, the Kaibabs seemed
a bit brighter. Vipers were pretty clear, not sure
how they would be at low light.
Vipers are way lighter to pack
They just came out with a 15 x 56 vulture,
I have not seen yet.

thanks for your input I just ordered a pair of the Viper HDs spoke with several dealers that carry & use them as well as a bunch of people that have them & everyone says the Viper HDs are hard to beat !!!

I think the Viper HDs are the best bang for your buck hands down. I am a Vortex dealer and I sell a ton of the Viper binos.

it would be real nice to lay hands on them !! I ordered & paid for mine almost a month ago only to find out they are back ordered until sometime in May !!! the Vortex rep apparently didn't check inventory before he ordered !!! also ordered a 2x doubler they said they shipped it 2 1/2 weeks ago still haven't seen it either !!! So Not starting out with a good feeling towards Vortex shipping & customer service !!!

funny No I was hoping to pay for them or partially pay for them horn hunting !! unless they are capable of seeing thru tall green grass they are gonna be worthless too me until hunting season !! I don't need them to see bears at my bait site !!! pretty discouraging

Finally got the new Binos only looked thru them for a little bit but from my house was able to spot a few deer sky lined at over 1 1/2 !!! that was in low light all I can say is compared to my 15 X 51 Brunton Eternas is WOW AWESOME glass crystal clear & sharp going this weekend to see if I can pick out a few elk horns in the tall grass !!!!
