Who makes a good trailer tire? I've got Goodyear Marathon Radial tires on my boat trailer. They aren't even four years old and there are blisters showing up on the sidewalls. Looking for something better.

I am looking too for a travel trailer.

Hope this thread turns up some help.

Look out Forkie, FTW is watching us!

Carlisle, makes a good trailer tire.

Stay away from TowMaster. Just last month had a set of 10 plys on our trailer only two years old and 3000 miles. ALL 4 tires full of deep cracks inside the water tread groves. Never purchase TowMaster.. cheap constructed tire...

Keep them out of the sun and they will last longer. If they aren't stored under cover use plywood or perhaps purchase tire covers. It will save you money in the long run.

Another vote for Carlisle, my brother loves them.

I have Hankook tires on my flatbed and Carlisle on my 5th. Both offer great rides and no problems.

Compromise, hell! ... If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?

I go through horse trailer tires like now other on the dirt road to the ranch. Been running kelly safari trex for the last two sets and they are the best i have found so far.

Not sure of the best tire but my dad buys his at Discount Tire and gets a warranty...every trailer tire gets replaced free. It's worked out great for our horse trailer.

Just bought a set of Carlisle from discount tire... that is the only one in 13 in that they sell.. they seem to be a nice tire
