A buddy of mine drew an antelope tag for South West Desert with 1 point. I'm going to go with him but neither of us have hunted or set foot on this unit. I'm curious if anyone knows some good places to start looking for antelope in this unit. Thanks in advance for your help.

They are down low bellow the Cedar trees in the flat country. A lot of water tanks out there.Watch those they hit them everyday for water. Take plenty of ice to cool down the meat as soon as you can. But you need to remember after all of your hard work scouting. That the elk hunters come in and park on all of those water holes. It sometimes pushes them up into the Cedar trees. Changing your hunt. I hunted goats out there several years ago. Good luck its a good time. But it gets really hot on the Southwest Desert!
