I have a question for those of you that have had this tag before. With your experience would you say it's better to play the numbers game and cover lots of area and see as many bucks as you can? Are there any of you that would say your best bet is to get off the roads and get back where there are less people for the better bucks? My wife has a tag, and my dad has a tag. I will tell my wife to shoot a 170 buck if we see it opening day. Dad is more than willing to eat his tag, he will be looking for something 180ish.

We usually see the better bucks when we get away from the roads and glass down into the canyons.
