Stupid question I know, but the technicalities are what can get a guy in trouble. So that's why I'm asking. Does a spike bull tag count as an " GS bull" tag? Let's say I draw a doe deer tag for December, but plan on hunting spike archery In the same area as my tag for doe. Can I legally shoot her 3 months early if I'm within the right boundaries and poses both tags? Could I do the same with the multi season spike tag? Would that make my doe tag good for all 3 seasons, plus the regular doe hunt at that point?

That's the way I see it. And I think it's a bullshit system that every cow elk gets lead thrown their way every time they poke their head out from august to February. I'm all for opportunity but enough is enough when the animals don't get a chance to dry the sweat for almost half the year. My personal gripe as a muzzle elk hunter is that we get to try turning up elk with a muzzleloader 3 days after the rifle deer hunters got done trying to kill a cow out of every damn herd that dares show itself.
