Dead Whitey found

I have been watching this buck through out the summer and have some video on him. I was hoping to get a chance at him but once he had rubbed his velvet off I could never find the deer again. Once the buck season was over I took a buddy out to get a doe, the doe he ended up getting slid down into some brush. We went to get her out and the buck I had been watching was laying there dead of course...looks like he had been there a couple of months, not sure what got him but it was a good find. Oh, and yes I did go get him game tagged. That is my oldest son holding the stinky head! Jim

Great find. To bad you didn't get to hunt him but at least you have the horns. What did he score? Looks like upper 160's or higher.

yeah, wanted that lucky hunter to be me, but sometimes it don't work out th way you would like it. At least I was lucky enough to find him anyways. It came from the Sheridan area.
