Winter Kill in the Dakota's

Just wondering how bad the winter kill was in North & South Dakota on the Whittie's! I'm going crazy to find a new spot to hunt Whitetails since Idaho Jacked there prices up so much.

I heard thru the grapevine they had a good kill in both north and south dakota..

I am not from around there,but went turkey hunting in the black hills a month ago,and the whitetails were EVERYWHERE!!They got record snow up around lead,sd..but around custer and rapid city there were deer everywhere.I was scared to drive at night!

not sure about south dakota, but if you want to hunt non resident whitetails in north dakota you better be handy with a bow. rifle and muzzeloader buck tags are hard to come by.
