Pref point deer, hunted 35 3rd last year. What a bust, wow couldn't find deer anywhere. It was unbelievable. Awesome country though. First time in the unit so I'm sure that didn't help.

I put in for elk in unit "wont tell ya where" and deer, I put in fir a Unit that just had its tag allocation slashed by 60% (Gunnison Basin)....

Confident for drawing my elk...
Deer?.... not so much

My uncle and i were going to put i. Together for 70 3rd. I have 5 nr pp. He has 12. Someone here gave me the idea to have him do 61, as there is no point to drop. (Appreciate the idea). Now, i hope i get drawn, as im sure he will. I committed to go either way.

P.S. i hate that they dont average. However, i do like that because both take 5 pts, any tags that get turned in, goes to guy next on list that put in.

So i really am nervous about the draw. I have heard from credible sources that the recent spikes in point dumps because of later dates is going to be "better".

Im from WA so this may be my last CO (and only) as it is the furthest...i have 9 pts in Ut, Ore, Nev, Wy so hopefully this is the last 1) 400 upfront 2) no average. I actualty lost a point one year (no joke) from Colorado for using blue ink. They surely took my 40 bucks though. This was 06 or so. Im still pissed about it.

Just put in for 4th season deer license. Doubt I'll draw. Put in for a muzz license in another area for 2nd choice, and again not sure I'll draw it. I will at least be hunting at home in Wyoming. No points in Nevada and won't draw Utah. Could be a slim year.

using my NR points in Colorado for both deer and elk. Deer we put in for 68 3rd season and elk is 40 archery. have a couple extra points for each tag so should be a fun fall!
