It's about that time to put in your Arizona Applications . So providing an additional update on current conditions .
The stars have aligned oh so perfectly for this season. The year 2010 was about as good as it gets . This year will be just as good if not even better than 2010 . 2010 was the first year I started documenting every storm that brought precipitation into the region . In 2010, precipitation amounts were Higher in Winter and very early Spring months . Only received 3 days of precipitation in May 2010. This year 2015 , not as many days of precipitation in Winter or early but had huge storms. And in the past 28 days, theres been 14 Days of precipitation , todays storm included. I've gone out a few times the past couple days and the Antler Growth in astounding compared to years past ! Here is another picture of a awesome Buck from last season . This Buck was harvested with the assistance from MDA Outfitters and scored 226" .
Glad to share and update everyone regarding the AZ Strip . FYI , I've been asked to stop sharing so much info by a couple Guides . They're afraid that I disclose certain locations and I don't care . Enjoy everyone !!!

Mike,

Thanks for the updates as always.. I am sitting on 13 resident points + this years application. I am hoping I finally get the tag of my dreams!!

John

What do you mean the time to apply is drawing near? I already put my 18 NR points into the hat, err computer, last week.

If ever there was a year I want to draw the strip....

CAelknuts : Good luck on the Draw man !! You at least have a decent chance .
My wording was " It's about that time to put in for the Applications" basically meaning it's finally here !!!!! Though when I went to there Website last Week it was down . I just put in this Morning even though my chances of Drawing the Tag is virtually 0 . lol

Well since I got lucky and got my turkey "Triple Crown" this year, figure I'm about due for my Strip tag with 16 bonus points.

Great to hear.

I'm also sitting on 13 points, plus this year's app. I'm getting close!

Thanks for the report plan to put my max NR points in today hopefully this will be the year they pay off especially with the talk of changing the draw.

Buckhorn, at the rate the top of the resident pool is dropping, I'd say 4-5 years!

But I sure hope to draw before then.

Not eligible for the first 15 tags, but got a chance at the last 55!

Just got to get a super low point for the draw right now!

Thanks for the reply.
I hope you get a very low draw number.

Thanks to AZMIGHTYMULIES for the Strip updates and his positive objectives.

Hey don, my dad is sitting at 17 res point, what kinda odds is he looking at.looked like 17 did the trick last year but I'm guess there were a few guys with 16 and 17 points last year that didn't put in and just bought a point I'm assuming.man I hope it's soon for his sake.mobility is not getting any better. Good luck this year to everyone

Thanks Buckhorn ! I'll be doing one more update likely Sunday . Pretty incredible data and #'s . And of course throw in another boring picture of a Giant Buck .

It looked like by radar that a pretty good storm rolled through 13a, 13b, 12a tonight. That should help finish off their antlers.
