Trying to find some water sources in the West 34 unit area for the OTC Barbary hunt. I've been looking at the onx and Google earth on my phone but can't seem to find anything. If anyone knows of some drinkers, dirt tanks or water catches or even springs, could you please point me in the right direction. In a PM maybe? Thanks for any help fellas. With a fire season that was unusually long and I brand new baby I was not able to scout at all for this hunt. Hell I wasn't even able to go on my elk hunt lol. Thanks again for any help.

Water sources are not as reliable for Barbary sheep, ibex, and oryx. Those animals can go weeks without drinking water. Focus more on accessing areas that may be overlooked by others

Good luck man, it's a fun hunt. there are some real smart guys on here for that subject. I would start a new thread to solicit those guys if I were you.

Sorry buddy but I dought u will get much info on Barbary sheep areas draw or over the counter. Folks usually keep tight lip. But I'll go ahead and give you some advise. Barbary sheep are very hard to pattern as they will cover enormous amount of country in one day if pushed. It I would say threw my experience it is 95 percent luck. Well no I'm gonna say 50 percent luck and 50 percent shooting ability. Turrets and being able to shoot 1000 yards on flat land in target practice is not even gonna come close at shooting Barbs at steep angles. So the best advise is just go anywhere and be at a good vantage point when the sun comes up as that is the best time to spot them. The sun reflects off their backs and you can find them. Sit and glass for hours and hours . Good luck
