Unit 34 Deer hunt HELP please

LAST EDITED ON Sep-25-17 AT 10:27AM (MST)[p]My son drew an Archery Deer tag for Unit 34 this year. This will be his first attempt hunting with his Bow. We were tied up with his other brothers Archery Elk tag and my sheep tag and couldn't get to GMU34 to scout for deer.

I am not looking or asking for anybody's location of a giant buck they have watched for several years. I am asking for a good general area where my son could see multiple deer hopefully with some bucks and have an opportunity to harvest an animal.

I appreciate the help and hopefully my son will have a great time. I will let you all know how everything works out.

Not specific to bucks only, but Cloudcroft has mulies all over the place. Get into some public land north of town.

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate it. I always get so nervous when trying to help my boys hunt. I guess as their dad I want them to enjoy their time and want to keep hunting.
