It has been a successful October for our family, we only had two tags but were able to have lots of fun and fill the freezer with both of them. My son killed an elk a couple weeks ago and I was able to harvest this buck yesterday morning. I feel fortunate because my time for this deer hunt was limited due to both my son's football schedules, practice, and yes, even Halloween, because I had standing orders from my wife that I was not going to miss my young daughters trick or treat!
I killed this buck at 0830 in the morning and was back in time to watch my youngest sons football game at 1:00.
