We are a Military Family. We will probably move in a couple of years, so, I wanted to share the success our family has had over the past 2 hunting seasons. I would also like to thank all the members for their help/advice/and directions that have helped us be as successful as we have been. Good luck to all of you.

We are leaving in about 4 hours for my son's Barbary sheep hunt and I just found out some great news. I apparently was selected for an Ibex herd reduction hunt. Our family is being blessed greatly with hunting in New Mexico. I will keep everyone up to date with the progress made.

No luck with the Barbary so far. We saw a big guy but he disappeared and I had to work this week. We will be back at it again this weekend.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-26-18 AT 07:54AM (MST)[p]Both of the Oryx were the same year when my son and I were both called for the herd reduction hunt on WSMR. I am a military guy and have only put in for the draw twice, 3 times if you count this years (2018) draw. So, I drew the Bighorn on my second try, LOL. Our family has been extremely blessed with draws the past couple of years.
