Great Oryx Hunt

I spent yesterday helping a friend's wife take her Oryx as part of the WSMR Herd Reduction Hunt. It was so much fun. We were in the Oryx immediately after sunrise and within an hour and half, she chose the one she wanted and her 308 was spot on. The animal went about 30yards and expired. Her cow measured out to 36 1/8" x 36 7/8" with a spread of 32 1/2" at the horn tips. An exceptionally beautiful animal.

It was after the draw but not long after. She knew about it for a good while and was looking forward to it.

Congrats, I'm not sure of what is considered a big oryx but it looks to be a big one ! Congrats again .
