Morgan Creek HMA

I am planning on archery elk hunting on Morgan Creek HMA this September. How is the hunting pressure during archery season?

I am struggling to pick out a camping spot nearby that is on public land and offers some privacy. Are there any suggestion? I know there are free public campgrounds nearby, but I would prefer a more secluded spot. Thanks.

If you want to camp where nobody else is, I would suggest a spot on blm nearby Morgan Creek WHMA that is not a designated spot, either on the south or north. I can't speak to the pressure as I've never held an elk or deer tag there, but I suspect archery will pretty much be awesome on the Morgan Creek. Good luck!
