Just wondering if the weather conditions have improved? If so, has the damage already been done to the Deer and Antelope populations?

Still bad in southwest Wyoming. Had over 8" of fresh snow yesterday, and temps were -15 when I drove across the winter range between Evanston and Kemmerer this morning.

This last storm was very wet. Maybe not as cold as previous storms, but it is staying on the ground longer.

Time will tell how many died this winter, but it does not look very good.

Improved in NW Wyoming. Less snow and high temps.

From evanston to green river has got pounded the last 3 weeks! Its Very cold wind/freezing fog. you will definitely see really bad winter kill deer/goats!

Anyone know what the Dubois/ Wind River area deer winterkill is going to be like?

I was in Dubois about a month ago and it really didn't look that bad. lots of open ground to the east. but I'm not sure how bad it was prior to that.
