Special vs full price

Two different pools to draw from. One for the more expensive tags and one for the less expensive tags. Theory is not as many people will pay for the more expensive tag hence better odds. However that doesn't always hold true, look at previous years odds for both to help you decide whether the more expensive tag will help you that much or not and if it's worth it. Once you draw there is no difference.

I think that overall, Wyoming Game and Fish does a great job. Their website, like so many others, just sucks.

I called two times to fish and wildlife and both times had good help. Both times I got ladies who took the trouble to look up the statistics for last years draw and give me the facts. They would not give me advice but quoted the statistics and said that if this years draw was similiar to last year I was a good candidate for the special draw. I guess that after this years statistics are available I can decide if I made the best choice. I drew the tag and plan to not second guess my decision.

Yelp and I see the unit I applied for had some more point creep. I didn't draw even in the special. I kinda figured the price increase would steer a lot of folks to regular draw
