I've been on here for years and have helped many people fill there tags or at least have opportunities, but this year I really need help! I am primarily a bow hunter and my fiance is a rifle hunter. In my honey hole area I ram cameras all summer and had great pics but come archery season I spent 7 days straight and couldn't find any, went up rifle opener for 2 days and only saw a hand full of does..... I am stressed, over my hunting budget for the year, and need meat. I've killed trophy bucks the past to years and would honestly be happy with shooting a forky or fat whitetail doe. All of my places are over ran with people and no legal deer. We live in Payette but don't know the area well. I was looking at the maps and would like any info on the area ne of ola on forest service land or any other public land near payette that I may be able to get something in the freezer. In exchange anyone who can give me some info that leads to a kill can hunt on my property for a day and fill your bag limits, we have 8 acres and have tons of quail and doves, and have a 3/4 acre pond that has ducks on it and the geese should be showing up before to long..... feel free to pm me and thank you for any info, also I am partially disabled from a back injury in Afghanistan so can't hike to terribly far or up very steep stuff. Also I do have a great archery spot for late 39, but I'm just not trying to put all of my eggs in one basket.

I had several trail cams up all summer on Dry Buck. More bear than anything else. One shot of a lone wolf. I did get some pics of a few bucks. Bow hunted for elk, never loosed an arrow, but I did pass on a couple of 3x2 bucks. There is HEAVY hunting pressure there. Wish I could be of more help.

I would wait for the 39 archery hunt. Less people IMO and if it snows there will be a lot of deer.

Thanks everyone for the replies and pm's!!!! Unfortunately now work is getting in the way so I just may have to wait until next month. Hope everyone is havin better luck than me this year! Also my buck from last year should be done at taxidermist soon, so pics to come for it.
