Unit 71 Fall Turkey

Hello everyone,

So it seems the only thing i drew this year was a fall turkey hunt in Unit 71. Now i have never honestly done turkey and not sure where to start. Does anybody here have any pointers for a fall turkey hunt or someone willing to show me the area. I'm excited to try something new this fall and appreciate all feedback.

Now I know this is a deer/elk/moose forum primary but figured someone might be able to offer some help.

You will find turkeys in the Pourtnuf wildlife management area.

And on every piece of private ground that borders the WMA or on the creek bottoms. Knock on some doors, some people love those turkeys but some hate em!
