Spokane Grouse??

I want to spend some time north of Spokane hunting Forest Grouse this fall. Any suggestions on starting points? I'm a little intrigued by the Sullivan Lake area??

saw a ton of them in the little pend oreille NWR outside of colville. how far north do you want to go?

anywhere there are mountains here in NE WA there will be grouse

Jeez cuttthroat ya lamebutt, why don't ya just tell the whole world there are grouse by spokane?? Now my hunt is shot all good grouse areas exposed.

Thanks for your input. I ended up finding a lot of Spruce Grouse near Sullivan Lake. I even found 1 black bear but couldn't get a shot. Its pretty country.

That's good advice. That's where I used to hunt grouse when I lived in Spokane area.
