Well our 2011 antelope season has come to a close. My son and I unexpectedly drew our antelope tags with 5 points.
We didnt know how lucky we were really going to be. After many dusty scouting trips the best areas were selected and the season began.
After a few close calls and passing on several my son picked off the biggest one we had seen and I took the second one a half hour later.
His was just over 16" and around 83" mine was around 14.25".

Wow that is a great buck! Tell your son congratulations. That buck's a Awesome Thanks for posting on the antelope section I never check out other states to much. I think that it is really cool that you are passing the hunting tradition on to your son. I'm sure you made memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks for sharing.

Great job and thanks for posting the pics. It's great to see the father / son hunts turning out successful. My boy is 14 and took his first antelope in WY last year, he's hooked.
