My f-i-l Drew this tag he was just wondering if anybody had any info they would be willing to share ie. Camping spots elk quality,quantity places to check out or not thanks for your help

There isn't any mystery or big secrets to hunting the ochoco unit. unless you have permission stay off the private land and there isn't anyplace that's lots better than the other and noplace you couldn't find a bull. around the prarie and south boundry will be the hardest hunted but it's because they're good. with less than 300 tags hunters won't be a big issue anyway.
The only variable that can cause problems is if the elk flock to the private and hang up, which they can do. that can change hourly so just go hunt you may not be in the elk all the time but the elk are there.
