X3b success

Got it done in x3b, was a tough hunt with not a lot of deer numbers, but in the bottom of the ninth a couple decent bucks ended up with tags around the antlers and headed to the freezer. 13 hard days of glassing, hiking and tons of ground covered made these bucks for myself and a new friend well deserved..



Crossed too many of these tracks!!

3x3 was jumped on a juniper Ridge and one round from my 300wsm put him down, 2x2 was with him and ran in to my partner on the other side of the ridge and met the same fate. It got a little western for a moment with deer running through thick juniper trees but had two guys smiling as we hauled these two to the rig..

Nice job, way to get it done especially with the tough hunting this year. Needed the weather from this weekend a couple of weeks ago. Congrats on a successful hunt.

I absolutely hated the rain it ruined my dad's hunt this weekend went from seeing rattle snakes and big bucks Thursday to extream wind and rain the next it sucked.

Congrats on the nice bucks. It sounds like a great hunt--I hate it when they end on opening day. From the color in the background, I think I recognize the ridge. Were there many people on the trail in?
