Anyone with a tag left get ahold of me I found a smoker buck but my daughter couldn't get on him fast enough and she ended up shooting a smaller buck because she had her first day of school

I wonder if the buck you found just got shot. My son sent me a picture of a supposedly 85" buck that one of his buddy's father just shot. Probably 16" with HUGE prongs! When I saw the picture, I was thinking 87-88", but they said he went 85". Supposedly, this buck was quite well known as he was near one of the towns around Honey Lake.

No, there are no rocks in the picture I have. Just dry grass and some big sage brush. I'm guessing different bucks?

Just wanted to say thanks to Nuts4bucks! With some help from him, I was able to get into some great bucks for the old man in an area that I knew well, but that didn't hold nearly as many antelope when I lived in CA and hunted it 20 years ago.

The hunting was great and camping was superb. The old man can't walk and struggles to get into position to shoot but once he does he can still hit the target. Found him a nice looking 14" er at 400 yards and he hit the 10 riing with his old 257 Roberts.
