2011 antelope

will there be an antelope season for 2011 in southern Alberta? Heard they just got busted from last winter?

There will be, but tags may be cut cut a bit. The winter was ruff and the spring was even worse on them.

Again, it may be the same senerio, with mule deer. The CWD cull in the zone around there have done a number on them. The winter was harsh, and they had one of the wettest springs ever. But again, don't let that discourage you at all, if you put some miles on your boots and get off the road, there have been lots of potential giants spotted in the area already. Hopefully there growth continues and it could be a banner year for deer in Alberta this year in general.
