It was we conservatives who rightly and robustly asserted our constitutional prerogatives as a co-equal branch of government when a Democrat was in the White House but who, despite solemn vows to do the same in the event of a Trump presidency, have maintained an unnerving silence as instability has ensued.

I know it's hard to see facts in an orange colored world but the talking Yam has no agenda except what comes next on his twitter feed.

Where are the vaunted negotiating skills that would make health care, "so simple"? Give me his specific policy agenda on Health Care...he doesn't have one. Nor does he have specifics on Tax Reform, or infrastructure or the debt ceiling or the budget fight, well other then to increase spending.

I don't know about Bears Ears and you are probably right on that one.

I do know the Organ Mountains/Desert Peaks and it is presently 496,330 acres that is in four separate parcels, separated by two Interstate Highways, two cross country railroads, the Rio Grande River, a major gas pipeline, a major fiber optics line, encompasses a major southern tier FAA radar site and overlays four major energy transmission lines.

This Monument designation and many of Obumer's others are an absolute abuse of the Antiquities Act. Some of the objects listed in then President Obama's proclamation don't even exist in the monument, as they reside on private or state lands.

The proclamation creating the OMDPNM has the most anti-livestock grazing language of any National Monument where grazing is still allowed. Ranchers face the prospect of not being able to conduct standard daily ranching operations; of not having new range improvements approved; and in some cases, not being able to maintain existing range improvements.

You are on! $2500 delivered to my door step.

Not that it matters, as you are going to lose this one, but in the slight chance I lose I won't have to use any Gov't money to pay you, just my heard earned outfitting money. Perhaps the orange jizz in your eyes makes it so it is difficult to read but congress passed a law in 1976 Called the Federal Land Policy and Management Act. You should read what it contains some time when you start throwing your future generations money around. Contained with in this act are the following words:

-Interior Secretary "shall not modify or revoke any withdrawal (to protect land) creating national monuments under the Act of June 8, 1906."

Basically, the argument goes that through both the 1906 and the 1976 laws, Congress was making sure that it retained final say over protected lands. If a president protected a block of land, only Congress had the authority to reverse it.


So this will have to go to the Supreme Court if and when you think Zinke will attempt to break current law by withdrawing any lands from a Monument. How long do you suppose that will be tied up in litigation?

Anyway I am sure you knew all of this and still believe that Trump was elected King of America and doesn't have to follow the law or what the courts say. That Constitution you pretend to love, you really should read it some time and learn about co-equal branches of government.
