Hey guys, this is a new area for my family. My brother in law recently got a tag to hunt Buffalo on his reservation in South Dakota. His uncle is our guide. I am wondering first of all if there is someone in N. Utah with experience doing Buffalo shoulder mounts..?? Do any of you recommend someone in particular. Secondly, I am also wondering about care of the hide as we are having the buffalo butchered there. We have been told it will take 2 days, so, how should we care for the hide and cape best. Our plan is to skin the entire animal and let the taxi cut the cape as he/she needs to. My bro-in-law would like to have the remaining part of the hide tanned as well. Any ideas on cost for that..??
