So while moving my first buck's mount broke. Luckily the antlers are fine but the piece of skull between the antlers is broken. So how would you pros go about adhering the skull plate back together? How would you get the antlers to stay in place while the adhesive is drying? I'm sure I can do this w/o the advice but I know some of you guys have way more experience at this than I do! Thanks.

Doesn't appear to be alot of skull plate there to work with so this may not work for you...
Take some drywall screws and screw them in on the inside of each side of the plate so that the heads are towards the center of the plate. These screws will act like rebar in a concrete pour. Mix up some bondo, turn the pieces upside down so the inside of the plate is up and pour in the bondo. You will have to hole it together for a bit until the bondo starts to kick off then you should be good to go and can trim away the excess before it hardens up completely.
If you are going to mount the finished antlers on a board or manufactured skull, make sure you mark on the topside where you can drill and place screws to miss the "rebar" screws below.

This is what I did for mine:

Using one of the smallest drill bits you can find, drill two holes on each side of the cracked skull plate. Using a copper wire (about the size that is in a TV cable), thread the wire through the holes and tie the wire tight. This will hold the antlers together in their natural position.

Next, I used a plumbers putty (like this - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-4-oz-Epoxy-Putty-31270/100344357) to bond the skull plates together. Apply the Epoxy underneath the skull in the brain cavity. Once it is all dry, you can clip the wires off the front of the skull. The skull should be stronger than ever.
